Everything you need to know.
Your entries are never shown to anyone — not your friends, not the public. They are stored encrypted with a key unique to your account, and Meridian's AI reads them on our servers to build your galaxy and your Story. Friends see that you showed up, never what you wrote, unless you choose to share one entry with them, encrypted the same way.
It's optional. When your chosen wind-down time hits, Meridian quietly pauses your distracting apps and presents a journaling prompt. Write a few sentences, and the apps unlock. It pulls you out of autopilot and into reflection.
Every entry lights stars: one for each person, place, thread and goal you write about. When you keep coming back to someone or something, its stars join into a constellation — your sister, the job search, the city you moved to. Tap one to open its page, with a short summary of what you've written about it and every entry it appears in.
Free gives you unlimited journaling, the full galaxy, Story, Ask, streaks, friends and circles. Pro adds personalized AI prompts and unlocks every star palette, constellation line style and sky background.
Yes. The web app at app.journalmeridian.com signs in to the same account and has your galaxy, Story, entries and friends — everything except the Screen Time lock, which only an iPhone can do.
Yes. Meridian is on Google Play, and in any browser at app.journalmeridian.com, on the same account as your iPhone. The Screen Time lock is built on Apple's API, so it's iPhone only.
